There were discussions about the card, but there was no offer on the table
Officially these are the sets that separate the two, but weve already had important cards released for the format through Explorer Anthology 1, 2, and 3, and Pioneer Masters : Return to Ravnica Gatecrash Dragon's Maze Magic 2014 Theros Born of the Gods Journey Into Nyx Magic 1 5 Fate Reforged Dragons of Tarkir Magic Origins Battle for Zendikar Oath of the Gatewatch Although sets like Kaladesh and Amonkhet had their remastered versions on MTG Arena, it is highly unlikely for that to happen with the rest of the sets for Explorer
It turns out the Commander Format Panel still views giving your creatures flash while untapping all your lands as a bit too dangerous for the format
Now, Ill admit, the Izzet control decks are taking a big hit this rotation losing many great lands and interaction, but Impulse is one of the better card advantage spells out there, and this is certainly something to watch
You can also exert your characters to and challenge other characters banish them
