mtg valgavoth commander deck Valgavoth, Harrower of Souls (Commander) Whenever an opponent loses life for the first time during each of their turns Valgavoth, Harrower of Souls in

Some other defender creatures can also serve as payoffs, like Coral Colony and Doorkeeper, which mill your opponent, or Blight Pile, which attacks their life points directly

Id like to extend a big thank you to Lorcana Decks on X/Twitter for aiding in my decklist research and DreamBorn for their super easy to use deckbuilding tool

Burn and damage have always been reds bread and butter, but because its had to be balanced for competitive duel formats, its efficacy pretty much evaporates in the face of multiple opponents with double the starting life

An Izzet commander is in good colors for Treasure (Storm-Kiln Artist + Xorn) or for artifact animation (Rise and Shine and Masterful Replication come to mind)

So it's important that you pick the right size for your Magic cards
