The Special Illustration Rare version of the same card is sitting in the main top 10, so the gap in price between the two printings here is a good indicator of just how much the artwork premium matters in this set

Recently, a couple of high-profile CGC grading and auctions have given us a window into what this process looked like, from the absolute very first test prints all the way up to the days before official release
